Position: Business Analyst - Manufacturing

LOCATION: Phu My-Baria Vung Tau

Our company is rolling out a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System across Vietnam. We are looking for a Business Analyst to work within our Manufacturing Department to use the newly implemented system effectively. This will be an excellent opportunity to gain skills that few people in any organisation have in Vietnam.

The roles require a strong focus on technical excellence in business processes. They will largely involve working daily to support and educate the key-users within the Manufacturing functions in our businesses in Vietnam.

The roles require strong communication skills with key-users and you will need to develop a detailed, technical understanding of the new ERP application to achieve the required outcomes of the job. You will also be required to gain knowledge of the broad function of each department within the company and all businesses processes, to be able to identify, correct and track problems in the system.

Training will be provided.

Type of position
2 year contract position reporting to the IS Manager

Qualification
• Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Computing or related degree

Experience
• Significant prior experience in a system support role within the Manufacturing Dept.
• Prior experience using/implementing integrated ERP class business systems an advantage
• Prior experience with use of computer tools such as Cognos and Powerplay a distinct advantage.
• Minimum 3 years working experience with multi-national companies (manufacturing sector preferred)
• Possess strong communication skills, diligent approach to work, ability to control documentation
• Ability to train and influence others
• Good communication skills with excellent spoken and written English

Other requirements
 Excellent, clear verbal and written skills.
 Initiative and pro-active in taking responsibilities.
 Significant experience working around the IT function and with software tools
 Possess evaluating and analysing operational procedures and processes.
 Ability to absorb information and learn very rapidly.
