Sashimi và sushi ở Hawaii là tươi/ngon/rẻ nhất! Nếu kiếm được "Otoro" thưởng thức thì kô gì bằng. Nên tránh mấy tiệm gần nơi du khách. Mấy tiệm mà dân local tới là chắc nhất. Hỏi mấy anh tài xế taxi hoặc dân local là họ chỉ cho ...

Nếu muốn dể thì vào siêu thị (supermarket) mua 1/2 kí "poke" (po-keh, cá tuna sống chộn sì dầu) và vài chai bia lạnh ... Thì yêu cuộc đời. Rất nhiều loại poke, mua mỗi thứ một chút, 1/4 lbs, thử cho biết ...

Nhìn lịch trình của bác đưa lên, thấy mà ngán. Khó mà làm được tất cả, thời gian qua rất nhanh, chạy show nhiều quá kô thụ hưởng niềm vui. Chúc bác đi chơi vui vẻ ...

Ở Waikiki Beach thì ai cũng ghé thăm chợ trời "International Market", người VN mình buôn bán ở đó nhiều lắm.

Hi apham,
Thử pm nguyên cái lịch trình, thời gian và nơi đến từng địa điểm trong chuyến đi vừa qua của gia đình Mark. Apham có thể coi qua và research tìm những nơi phù hợp cho chuyến đi ngắn ngày của apham, nhưng dài quá không pm được đành post ra đây luôn vậy:

Day01 - Explore the South East of the Island
First stop is the Paiko Lagoon Wildlife Sanctuary.
Continue with visit to the world famous Hanauma Bay for some snorkeling/swimming.
Next stop, is Halona Cove/ Halona blow hole.
After stopping at Makapu’u lookout, we continue our drive to Waimanalo beach.
Stop at lanikai/kailua beach for sun bathing and swimming.
Lát stop is the world renowned Pali lookout.

Day02 - Explore North Shore
First stop is the Byodo Temple located at the base of stunning 2000 foot lush green cliffs.
Drive along Kahana Bay arriving at Laie Point.
Continue north the visit Kahuku shrimp farms and taste some succulent shrimp dish at the famous Kahuku shrimp truck.
Stop over at Kuilima Cove for swimming and snorkeling.
Next stop Pu’u O Mahuka Heilau, excellent place to view entire North Shore coastline.
At Turtle Beach(Laniakea Beach). We stop to observe green sea turtles resting on sand.
Travel south we arrive at the colorful village of Haleiwa. Here we can try some refreshing shaved ice, shop at North shore market place and possibly some Thai food served by a truck (Opal’s Thai food truck- 66 460 kamehameha hwy.#808-381-8091 the truck close at 7pm.

Day03 - Honolulu & vicinity
Drive to open flea market/swap meet at Aloha stadium, I happened to stumble on some.
Drive a 10 miles stretch of curvy and mountainous drive on Tantalus and Round Top drive including a stop at the Puu Ualakaa State Wayside Park. This drive will leads you through a wonderful tropical jungle with glimpses of Diamond Head, Honolulu and Punch Bowl.
Check out St. Augustine Catholic church. Noted for it’s magnificent stained glass of St. Augustine which stands at 76 feet high and 35 feet wide.

Day04 - Polynesian Cultural Center
First stop is Olomana Orchids farm, where it has an abundant of Hawaii flowers and Denbrobium orchids.
Next stop is the Macadamia farms where we can samples free macadamia nuts.
Final destination, the Polynesian Cultural Center.
Our Deluxe Luau package includes admission to IMAX theatre(Gina’s favorite) features the spectacular Coral Reef Adventure.
Luau Buffet dinner with roast pork, chicken teriyaki, salad and tropical fruits for desert.
Best for last is the 90 minute Horizons show which features a cast of over 100 young Polynesians that will enchant you with their enthusiasm, grace, endurance and beauty.
Our day ends probably around 11pm.

Day05 - Botanical garden and waterfalls
We arrive at Hoomaluhia Botanical Garden, nested at the foot of the steepest Koolau mountains.
After a long 27miles drive, we visit Dole pineapple plantation. The pineapple ice cream there is said to die for.
Continue our drive to Waimea Valley Park. Here, we can stroll thru paved roads enroute to waterfalls. Distance is 1.5 mi round trip.
Don't forget to stop by the Waialua old sugar mill. The mill stopped operate in 1996 but there are many small shops with an old town atmostphere.

Day06 – Westside of Island
Before we journey onto the Westside of the island, our first stop is one of the world’s premier botanical garden, the Lyon Arboretum, an exotic rainforest paradise home to 5,000 species of plants, including the largest collection of palm trees varieties on Earth. After 1 hour drive along the scenic highway, we arrive at Kaena Point State Park.
Kaena Point State Park is a post card perfect mile-long stretch of white sand beach, located near the western tip of the island of Oahu. What set this beach apart is it’s isolation from the crowds.
Our final stop is Ko Olina lagoons, man-made lagoons are perfect for swimming any time of the year. The lagoons are sandy beaches and surrounded by grass and shaded picnic area.

Em cám ơn anh Mark rất nhiều, em sẽ copy cái lộ trình của anh cho chuyến đi tới, em nghĩ xì tai của anh và em khá giống nhau, thích đi nhiều chụp ảnh nên bê cái lộ trình này vào chắc chắn sẽ phù hợp, em sẽ chọn các điểm chính cho khớp với 4 ngày ở đây :)

Quên nói cái lộ trình trên là lộ trình dành để "trả nợ" hay "lấy lòng" vợ con của Mark, nhưng mấy địa điểm chính đã nằm trong đấy hết rồi, mình chỉ muốn đưa ra cho apham thêm thông tin và tiện nghiên cứu riêng cho chuyến đi.

Theo ý riêng của mình .... apham nên mướn xe đi thăm thú quanh đảo tiện lợi và tự do hơn. Riêng cung đường chạy dọc theo bờ biển (Kamehameha Hwy) phía đông của đảo đừng nên bỏ qua, khoảng đường dài khoảng 40miles nếu tính từ Waikiki Beach tới Laie Point có rất nhiều điểm để ghé ngang qua chụp hình hay tắm biển.

Đặc sản ở Haiwaii là Macadamia nuts, nhớ đừng quên mua về làm quà nhé :-)

About 10 minutes 6.96 kilometres (4.33 miles) to downtown, about 15-20 to Waikiki from Honolulu Airport

Thứ Năm 7/2: Bay từ Las Vegas đến Honolulu
The most famous beach in the world -- Waikiki Beach. Gain insight into Waikiki's past on the Waikiki Historic Trail, a 2-mile trail marked with bronzed surfboards. Be sure to catch the sunset (anywhere on Waikiki Beach will do), and get an early dinner.
Visit Chinatown and head for the beach at Ala Moana Beach Park or a shopping spree across the street at the Ala Moana Center (Nhớ ghé shopping ở Ala Moana hoặc ghé Premium Outlet shopping cho người thân.)

8/2/2013: DAY 1 Honolulu
Tham quan các điểm sau: bãi biển Waikiki beach, điểm du lịch nổi tiếng Diamond Head (1.8 mi), Kahala, Hawaii Kai, Blow Hole, Vịnh Hanauma, HanaumaBay lookout and Pali Lookout.

9/2/2013: DAY 2 Visiting Maui island

Byodo-In Temple - cái chùa xây theo kiểu Nhật, không xài 1 cây đinh nào hết, có ao cá, chim cò, cây cầu gỗ, và bác có thể đánh cái chuông to 1 cái

10/2/2013: DAY 3 Honolulu, visiting Pearl Harbor
Tham quan Hawaii Maritime Center, Iolani Palace, Kawaiahao Church, and Mission Houses Museum. Go to top of the Aloha Tower, at the Aloha Tower Marketplace, for a bird's-eye view of Honolulu. Spend the afternoon at the Bishop Museum (5.2 miles)
Đi Dole Plantation xem đủ loại dứa, sau đó ghé vào quán Romy's Kahuku Prawns & Shrimp ở Kamehameha Highway ăn tôm (Hấp, chấy tỏi, v.v), tôm tươi mới vớt lên luôn.

Head to the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor. Get here as early as possible -- by the afternoon, the lines are 2 hours long. While here, be sure to see the USS Missouri Memorial and the USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park.

11/2/2013: DAY 4 Bay về Sài Gòn từ Honolulu trên chuyến bay lúc 11:40 AM, quá cảnh sân bay Incheon

Lang thang trong sân bay Incheon chờ chuyển tiếp, kỳ này em không đi transit city tour nên có 8 tiếng khám phá sân bay này. Rất thân thiện và tiện nghi, nhiều hoạt động cực hấp dẫn miễn phí cho khách du lịch.
