Hot air balloons of all shapes and sizes will fill the sky above Parramatta Park from 6.00am, in keeping with a tradition that has lasted 23 years, and is Sydney’s only Australia Day Hot Air Ballooning event. From 10am the longest part of the day, The Village Hub will come to life with a jam-packed array of activities, workshops and rides to keep both adults and the kids entertained for hours. Concert in the Park

The big names keep coming to Concert in the Park with Grinspoon set to headline at this year’s event. Family entertainment will begin at 6.00pm with Ash Grunwald, Western Sydney Triple J Unearthed band The Waysiders and finishing with a family fireworks spectacular over the Parramatta River at 9.00pm Fireworks Spectacular presented by Integral Energy. They are an integral part of Australia Day and presented to citizens in honour and recognition of outstanding contributions to the local community.
