Thiết kế dựa trên giải pháp: làm một lens 70mm f/1.0 có vùng ảnh với kích cỡ lớn hơn hẳn phim/sensor đang dùng, sau đó "re-size" ảnh thu được về kích cỡ của phim bằng một cách "nén" đặc biệt. Nói "nôm na", đó là cách ghép một teleconverter 0.7x với cái lens 70mm f/1.0 để tạo ra cái lens 50mm f/0.7 !

Các element từ trái qua phải:
1-6 là cấu trúc double-gauss (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camera_lens#The_asymmetric_double_Gauss) thông dụng
7-8 là hệ thống "nén hình" 0.7x

Quan sát cấu trúc trên, chợt thắc mắc: lens canon 50mm f/1.4, nếu gắn thêm một cái convertor 0.5x như trên có thành lens 25mm f/1.0 cho M4/3 hay không ?

Em nghĩ là có đó bác Tican_2009. Với các sensor có kích thước nhỏ thì chế tạo lens khẩu lớn dễ hơn. Vì thế mới có rất nhiều các ultra fast lens lên có f < 1 như list sau mà đa phần là sensor bằng hoặc nhỏ hơn 35mm.

Bác có thể thấy ở trong list còn có 25mm f/0.5 hay 33 f/0.6. Cho nên bác có tạo ra 25mm f/1 cho sensor nhỏ hơn thì cũng là chuyện hợp lẽ thường.
